the Class of '58!
Calling all Pioneers...
June 5th-8th, 2008
Joanie Brower, Ray Euler, Drew Griffith and I decided to hold
our 50th reunion this year in conjunction with Penn State's
Traditional Reunion Weekend since
we are now eligible to be inducted as Pioneers and will
receive Pioneer Medallions. As always, our reunion is
open to all classes around 1958.
Joanie has reserved a block of rooms at the Penn
Stater for Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday – June 5-8,
2008. Rooms were reserved under the name “Alpha Sig”,
with a group rate of $105 single and $115 double. The Penn
Stater formerly was known as the Scanticon. These rates
will be offered until May 5. We recommend you book your
space as soon as possible by calling 800-233-7505 or 814-865-5050.
The Nittany Lion is completely booked that weekend and numerous
reunions have placed heavy demand on accommodations.

The university-sponsored functions will end following the Sunday
morning Farewell Breakfast. We have reserved for Sunday night the
Faculty Staff Club and Alumni Lounge (formerly the Fireside Lounge)
at the Nittany Lion Inn for all returning Alpha Sigs. The
program will consist of cocktails, dinner, conversation, song and
certainly lots of laughs.

Please let me know one way or the other whether you will attend.
If you plan to attend, I strongly suggest you make your reservations
quickly and then let me know when your reservations were made. We
need a count in order to lock in numbers for the weekend. We’re
counting on you to be with us!
